Child Admission to BIWS Orphanage

BIWS Orphanage — Girls Campus provides shelter, education, healthcare, and a loving home for orphan girls in Lahore. Learn about eligibility, required documents, and the verification process below.

Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible for admission?

We accept orphan girls who meet the following criteria. All cases are reviewed individually by our admissions committee.

Orphan Girls

Girls who have lost their father, or both parents, and are in need of care, shelter, and education.

Age Requirement

Girls between 3 to 12 years of age at the time of admission. Older cases reviewed individually.

Verified Orphan Status

Father's death must be verified through official death certificate and NADRA records. Biological status confirmed.

Financial Need

Family or guardian must demonstrate genuine financial inability to provide the child's basic needs — food, shelter, and education.

Guardian Consent

Written consent from the legal guardian (mother, uncle, grandparent) is required before admission can proceed.

Medical Fitness

Child must be medically fit for residential living. A medical examination report is required during screening.

Document Checklist

Required documents for admission

Please prepare all of the following documents before submitting your application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Child's B-Form

Original or attested copy of the child's NADRA B-Form (birth certificate) showing full name, date of birth, and parentage.

Father's Death Certificate

Official death certificate issued by Union Council or hospital. If father is alive but absent, a written explanation and affidavit is required.

Guardian's CNIC

Mother's CNIC

Copy of mother's CNIC (if alive). If mother is deceased, her death certificate is also required.

Passport-size Photos

4 recent passport-size photos of the child, and 2 photos of the guardian. White background, clear face.

Medical Report

A basic medical fitness certificate from any registered doctor confirming the child is fit for residential living.

Guardian's Written Application

A handwritten or typed application letter from the guardian explaining why they're seeking admission and their relationship to the child.

Family Background Document

Family details including number of siblings, their ages, who is currently caring for them, and household income (if any).

School Records (if any)

Last school result card or leaving certificate if the child was previously enrolled in any school.

Two Character References

Written references from two trustworthy individuals (imam of local mosque, teacher, or community elder) vouching for the guardian and the child's need.

Verification Process

How we verify each admission

Every application goes through a thorough verification to ensure the child genuinely needs our care and protection.

1. Application Review

Our admissions committee reviews all submitted documents and checks for completeness within 3-5 working days.

2. Document Verification

We verify the B-Form, death certificate, and CNIC through NADRA records and cross-check with Union Council data.

3. Home Visit

Our social welfare team conducts a home visit to assess the living conditions and interview the guardian in person.

4. Committee Decision

The admission committee reviews all findings and makes a final approval or rejection decision. Guardian is notified.

What we specifically verify:

Father's status — Is the father deceased or alive? Death verified through official records.
Mother's status — Is the mother alive? Can she care for the child? Financial situation assessed.
Biological verification — Confirm the child is biologically related to the stated parents via B-Form and NADRA data.
Guardian legitimacy — Verify the guardian's relationship, CNIC, and authority to submit the application.
Financial assessment — Household income, number of dependents, and ability to provide basic needs.
Living conditions — Home visit confirms the actual situation, safety, and child's wellbeing needs.
